Ghana’s only nominee at the upcoming 2017 Urban Music Awards UK has confidently described himself as one of top 10 music stars in the country at the moment.
Despite his idleness at major concerts and inconsistent radio airplay which he blamed on media bias, he however during an interview with Ricky Rick on Empire FM declared himself very much eligible to be listed in Ghana’s Top 10 current musicians.
“As far as I’m concerned and as far as Ghana music is concerned, I keep saying most of the media is very selective………..Jupitar is not an underground artist here in Ghana and to be honest with you when you’re mentioning the top 10 Ghanaian artists currently my name would be somewhere there.”
The 29 year old “Enemies” hit-maker comes up against other top African opponents like Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Lorine Chia, Vanessa Mdee, Yemi Alade, Casper Nyovest and Sauti Sol for the much coveted African Artist of the Year Award
Would you also include Jupitar in your Top 10 Ghanaian Musician’s list?
