Imrana parts ways with Midas Touch after releasing only one song since he joined them 1 year 6 months ago
“Imagine Say” hitmaker Imrana has finally parted ways with his label Midas touch who were once co-management of the Late Ebony.
This sudden exit follows a misunderstanding & failure of the record label to deliver their promises to the young upcoming artiste Imrana.
According to Imrana, Midas Touch came in when he blew nationwide with his emotional viral song Imagine say somewhere around May 2019.
According to the artiste the label signed him for 3 years and then after 5 months gone waste they came back again to adjust the contract to 5 years.
5 months gone waste under first contract with no work from the label. He mounted pressure on the label which made the label released his first single under Midas touch with Fameye titled WHO BORN YOU.
Note: That song collaboration was personally done by artiste, he recruited Fameye on that song himself.
After 1 year 6 months into the contract only a single track has been released from the label.
Artiste was promised accommodation which was never given him. According to Artiste he still sleeps in the studios and also at friends places.
In an interview, Artiste said all he wanted was the label to push his songs out there. “I record songs every day and nothing was done about it, anytime I complain they tell me am arrogant”
Artiste took his social media platforms to announce that he no longer wants to work with the label. He want be on his own & start all over again. He believes his fans will not give up on him because he has a lot to offer.
Thus, from now he is going to take full responsibility of his music career and any other thing.
Imrana is currently part of the VGMA21 unsung category.
