Renner — fast rising Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall female singjay has released a latest one she titles “Lady”.
“Lady” is an afrobeats jam produced by Wakayna. According to the Reggae/Dancehall Act who has been off the scene for a while, she wants her comeback to be welcomed with her versatility across other genres, thus, she drops this new afrobeats record as part of her major come back.
Legendary Ghanaian Actor, Kofi Adjorlolo, starred in the music video as ‘Papa No’ (a supposed Croesus for a doxy).
Renner who explained the concept of the video says, “every lady must get a job (get a life) and stop chasing men (papa no) because these men can sometimes dissapoint (the most) when you need them.”
She advises (young) women who are lazy to get a job and stop waiting for ‘Papa No’ (Sugar Daddy) because they can survive. Watch the official video here (below), it was directed by Salifu Abdul of S2D Films Ghana.
