Meet Trotro driver with Shatta Wale tattoo
Famous Ghanaian dancehall star Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has called out his fellow musicians for not seeing the business aspect of the showbiz industry.
Speaking in an interview monitored by Finex News, the ‘1 Don’ did not mince words by saying his fellow musicians don’t understand the rudiments of making it big musically and artistically.
“It is killing us, we are not learning or studying what an artist should be.. we are failing to understand.. and this is all about being yourself.”
According to the “Dealer” man, artistes don’t understand how they should behave like in other to get the talkability needed for their brands to seen and heard.
“Type of attitude that we need to learn.. we didn’t have any orientation into this music industry, so most the artiste don’t know how to even be an artiste….cos they’ve given us a whole lot of notions and ideology about how an artiste should be.
He further stated that, musicians should always be themselves to bite the bullet by taking stringent measures, when it comes to issues relating to their professional music careers instead of playing good in the eyes of the masses.
Shatta Wale is out with his new project dubbed “Kumasi Invasion”, to support the Kumerican buzz that has eclipsed the world.
