After the arrival and success of her first EP some months ago, budding Reggae/Dancehall artiste Chiney Kiki has announced far advanced plans for the birthing of another extended play.
“Definitely… I’m gonna release another EP the beginning of 2021..when I say beginning that is between the month of February and April.. so they definitely should expect a big project, big EP with featured artists” she told Rof Roc of Beeniewords in an exclusive WhatsApp chat.
Known in private life as Shaneak Whittingham, Chiney Kiki sets herself apart within the reggae and dancehall fratanity with her Afrocentric groove and a voice that is sweet like a spoonful of sugar.
These days inspiration to be creative could stem up from anywhere and for her, the struggle to liberate the black race centuries ago with music is what keeps her up and running.
“Most of the experiences I have been through seems to be struggle.. knowing the history of reggae and dancehall, it comes from struggle you know… It was rebel music in Jamaica so naturally am gonna be more towards the reggae”.
Chiney Kiki surely bridges the space between the old and recent generation with her style as well as talent and has gained clouds globally for her contributions to the showbiz industry.
