The latest installment of the Ghana Premier League’s Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko this Sunday will be the 107th Ghanaian top flight meeting between the two clubs.

The two Premier League giants kicked off their big rivalry at the Jackson Park in Kumasi but the match ended abruptly over heated disagreements. Hearts were leading 4-2 at the time the game was called off prompting a replay of the match on November 2, 1958.

NB: Their FIRST  league game was played on 24th August 1958 at Sir Francis Jacksons Park in Kumasi but the match was abandoned in the 70′ minutes because Gargo Moro, a Kotoko player who was sent off refused to go off the pitch. Hearts were leading 3-0 at 1st half and Kotoko used ten minutes to score 3 goals but Hearts made it 4-3.
