Former Ghana under-20 and Palermo FC poster boy, Odjer Moses pays a courtesy call on Ambassador His Daniela D`Olandi.
The central defense midfielder is on holidays in Ghana after the end of the European football campaign.
Having played a pivotal role in Palermo FC’s 2020/2021 league campaign with wins over arch rival Cavese, the 24 years old maestro expressed his profound gratitude to the Italian ambassador and government for making him feel at home.
“My first week in Italy was a bit challenging because of the changes in climate, language, food and culture. But the highest level of hospitality I received made my stay a very wonderful one” – Odjer told the ambassador.
“Life in Italy had shaped me into a world class footballer. My on and off the pitch relationship with teammates, friends and the indigenes is inspired by the Italian communities I find myself in since 2014” – Odjer added.
With 26 appearances in the Serie C, Odjer’s Palermo FC comfortably sits at the 7th position with higher hopes of improving in the next season after the international break.
Italy will forever be my second home since I’m growing to be an Italian – Odjer jokingly says as he presented a customized jersey to the ambassador.
