Over the weekend Tema based rapper/Afropop act Alpha185 embarked on a radio tour to promote his newly released single titled ‘Aboa Sika’. It’s his first official single off his yet-to-be-released ‘Koko Seller Pikin EP’.
Alpha185 On Onua FM
He made his first stop at Anigye Mmer3 on Onua 95.1 FM with Christian Agyei Frimpong. The hosts’ reaction to the title of the song though he hadn’t even played it was monumental. Upon playing it, he asked series of questions with regards to the high-quality production, lyrics, storyline, style, attitude, confidence, and most importantly the message the song carried. For the reasons mentioned above, the host had no option other than to selflessly share salient nuggets of wisdom with Alpha to drive his career in the right direction and even invited him to perform at an upcoming event coming up this week Friday at Tema.
Alpha185 On Accra FM
Entertainment Capital with Kojo Preko Dankwa on Accra 100.5 FM was his next stop. Alpha was warmly welcomed by a group of panelists who were present to review the new single based on their expertise in music and the industry. Immediately the song was premiered, the whole studio was filled with an avalanche of accolades, excitement, and empowerment from both the host and the panelists. Guess what? He was been compared to legendary Lord Kenya and Okomfo Kwadae. To the extent that, Lord Kenya’s former manager who happened to be part of the panelists said if Alpha doesn’t blow, he’ll personally dig into it.
Alpha185 On Class FM
Wrapping it up for the day, he had chitchat on The Big Show with Nana Kwesi on Class 91.3 FM where he had almost similar merit for his evergreen record. Everybody seems to relate to the song because it hits emotionally and psychologically sparks different thoughts in your mind. You don’t need to over-stress your thoughts to make meaning out of the song. Alpha185 is the name, music is his game, and creating a generational legacy with music is his aim. More reason why you’re kindly encouraged to listen and share.
