M.O.V grabs “Reggae Song Of The Year” at Emerging Music Awards 2021

The Accra City Hotel was the place to be last night as a number of upcoming artistes and other entertainment players picked up awards in their various categories. The 2021 EMAwards was organized by Kusstar Entertainment and this was their 3rd edition.

M.O.V. a visually impaired afropop and reggae artiste, picked the award for Reggae Song of The Year with his song Blow My Mind.

For an artiste who launched his music career on the 20th of September, 2020, it is a great feat to pick his first award on the 25th of September, 2021, a space of one year.

What is even more amazing is the fact that he has had very little help since he does not even have a team and yet has not let his loss of sight hinder his work. M.O.V. has released 8 songs with titles like Uber, Lady in White, Take Am, Logoligi, Van Damme, 1GAD 1 Don and most recently, the reggae song Man of Vision and all these can be found in all digital stores.

If anyone deserves this award, it is M.O.V. and we hope the industry will give him the support he needs to become main stream. You can reach him on his social media handles @MOV MUSIC.

Congratulations M.O.V.
