January 12, 2022 will be MUSIGA National and Regional Elections

 

This is to notify Members of the Musicians Union of Ghana(MUSIGA) that, the National and Regional elections shall be held concurrently on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the Ten (10) regions MUSIGA is operating.

Extension of Filing of nominations for National and Regional Elections and renewal towards the election ended on Wednesday 20th October, 2021.

Vetting started from Wednesday, 20th October, 2021 and will end on Monday 25th October, 2021.

 

1. Ashanti Region Monday, 25th October, 2021 at 9:30am

2. Greater-Accra is scheduled for Thursday, 21st October, 2021 at 10:00 am

3. Western region will be on the Friday, 22nd October, 2021.
From 1:00pm till 5:00 pm at Melody Hotel, Takoradi

4. Central region on Wednesday, 20th October, 2021 @10:00 am

5. Upper West region on Saturday, 23rd October, 2021 @ 9:00 am

5. Eastern region on Monday, 25th October, 2021 @10:00 am

6. Northern region on Friday, 22nd October, 2021 @10:00am

7. Upper East on Friday, 22nd October, 2021 @10:00 am

9. Bono Ahafo on Friday, 22nd October, 2021 @ 10:00am

10. Volta region on Thursday, 21st October, 2021 @ 3:00pm

 

Vetting for National position for new aspirants is on Friday, 22nd October, 2021 @ 10:00am at MUSIGA National Office.

 

Aspirants who filed in 2019 will not be vetted but a date will later be communicated to them for a meeting with the election committee.
