Triggered by the distasteful death of George Floyd, magnificent Nigerian afrobeat act Baba Kuboye penned the lyrics to this beautiful and powerful yet thought provoking jam titled ‘Yawa‘ on slow tempo afrobeat instrumental to speak out the injustices against Black People. The video was directed by Hussein Njoroge.
