Young Jamaican Reggae Artist, Koffee creates history as she picks up the Grammy Award for “Best Reggae Album” with Rapture released on March 14, 2019 under Columbia Records. Koffee‘s win makes it the only female artiste to win a Grammy under the aforementioned category even though there were nominations where female reggae artists made it onto the list.
The five(5) track album, “Rapture” got nominated in same category “Best Reggae Album” with Julian Marley’s “As I Am”, Third World’s “More Work To Be Done”; all released under Ghetto Youth International, Sly & Robbie and Roots Radics’ “The Final Battle” released by Serious Reggae and Steel Pulse’s “Mass Manipulation” released under Roots Fire.
Koffee, since the release of her hit single “Toast” off her Rapture EP has worked seem Lessly to maintain her shine. We believe she deserves the GRAMMYs, Congrats Koffee!!!
