The Ghana Export – Import Bank (GEXIM), has been awarded the “Agribusiness Bank of the Year” at the Ghana Accountancy and Finance Awards 2022 held on Friday 14th October 2022 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, in Accra.
The Ghana Accountancy Awards, organised by Strategic Accountancy Africa, provides a platform to celebrate individuals and organisations that play a significant role in the accounting and finance sectors while recognising their key functions within the industry that promote high standards and excellent stewardship. The categories under the awards scheme cuts across accountancy, finance, pensions, government agencies, insurance, taxation and financial institutions.
The scheme is supervised by an Awarding Board, which comprises of HRM Okatakyei Nana Asafo Boakye III, Ruler of Sazule Nzemah Kingdom, Tiguidanke Camara, Chairperson of Tigui Mining Company, Simeon Freeman, Chairman of Consolidated Group Inc. and Patrick Nana Asiedu, Director, Strategic Accounting Africa.
Officials of the Bank that attended the award ceremony were Mrs. Priscilla Budu, Head Legal, Anthony Dwumah, Head, Guarantees, Mrs. Sarah Brainoo-Arhin, Head, Corporate Banking, Patrick Nsiah-Yeboah, Head, Internal Control and Mrs. Grace Anderson, Senior Officer, CEO’s Secretariat.
