Charterhouse must also be punished says Mr. Enock Agyepong

The most excruciating and dissatisfying aspect of this year’s VGMAs is the dereliction of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy. While some people are happy about the ban leveled against both acts, based on the dustup they caused at last year’s VGMAs, plainspoken entertainment pundit and CEO of Speech Productions Mr. Enock Agyepong has taken a different approach to address the issue of sensitive interest in our showbiz space.

Speaking in an interview with Christian on Onua FM Mr. Agyepong stated that, considering how hard both artists have worked, it will be a total disservice to the industry as a whole if they’re not part of the scheme this year. He also threw more light on how they’ve been over punished by the board. According to him, as far as the case is in court, the board’s decision to disregard them in this year’s scheme isn’t the best for the industry.

For this reason, he doesn’t understand why the board has failed to communicate to stakeholders the decision they took regarding Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s ban. Meanwhile the board promised stakeholders of any new development in the case of the final decision they take.

Fast forward, he opined Charterhouse must equally be punished for their negligence. This has become necessary in view of the fact that, if they had rolled out strict security measures to ensure the safety of patrons, fans, etc incident of such nature wouldn’t escalate like it did.
