Apple Music drops new ‘Africa Now DJ Mix’ featuring DJ Consequence
Apple Music today released this month’s Africa Now DJ Mix featuring Afrobeats DJ and entrepreneur, DJ Consequence (real name Akeredolu Precious Pelumi), who has built a thriving career off the back of hosting some of the most popular nightlife events in Nigeria.
“This mix that I’ve created exclusively for Africa Now is a compilation of current club banging Afrobeats and Amapiano tracks and remixes,” he tells Apple Music.
Nicknamed “The Vibe Machine”, DJ Consequence is perhaps best-known for his Zero Gravity Party Series that has established itself as the biggest Sunday party in Lagos. By recognising the talent of emerging DJs from all over Nigeria, DJ Consequence created a platform for that talent to hone their craft in front of a sold out crowd.
DJ Consequence’s thriving music career has also seen him release songs alongside Olamide (“Assignment”), Mayorkun (“Blow The Whistle”), Lil Kesh (“Water Bottle”) and Reekado Banks (“Banging”).
