Mastercard Foundation hosts electrifying AgroFusion Festival with DJ Lord OTB, Kuami Eugene, Others

The Mastercard Foundation recently celebrated the second edition of the AgroFusion Festival, a two-day event held on October 12th and 13th, 2024, in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital of Ghana. The festival, which is part of the Ghana Grows Programme, brought together young innovators in the Agribusiness and Agriculture Technical Vocational Education and Training (ATVET) sectors to inspire youth, including persons with disabilities, to pursue fulfilling careers in agriculture.

The festival included a summit, exhibition, book launch, and an awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding young contributors in the field. Organized in partnership with the Springboard Road Show Foundation, the initiative aims to encourage young Ghanaians aged 15 to 35 to explore opportunities in agriculture.

The event wrapped up with an electrifying entertainment show, headlined by Ghana’s top DJ, DJ Lord OTB, alongside performances by music stars Kuami Eugene, Dope Nation, Lasmid, Byno Ayoni, DWP Academy, and Adelaide De Seer. The show also featured local talents from Koforidua, adding an exciting finish to the festival’s celebration of innovation and creativity in agriculture.
