Shazam fast forward 2025 unveils 10 Latin Artistes to watch this year
With more than 300 million global monthly users and over 100 billion global song recognitions since its launch, Shazam’s unique ability to accurately predict the next breaking artist is unparalleled and has become a reliable and invaluable tool for both artists and fans over the years.
Today, Shazam continues to unveil “Shazam Fast Forward 2025,” its revamped list of yearly predictions, highlighting 10 artists to watch in Latin music. To learn more about these artists and discover each batch of daily predictions throughout the rest of the week, music fans can now explore an all-new microsite!
Starting yesterday and continuing through Friday, Shazam will unveil 10 artists per day, broken down into broader genres spanning Dance; Latin; Alternative, Rock, and Country; Pop; and Hip-Hop and R&B. Based on Shazam’s uniquely predictive data and algorithms, and coupled with the expertise of Apple Music’s global editorial team, this incredible selection of artists represents the biggest trends in music now and in the future. Each artist featured has shown early indicators of future growth, including early and consistent momentum in Shazam activity, as well as discovery trends in more than one country.

Shazam Fast Forward 2025 — 10 Latin artists to watch
Shazam Fast Forward 2025 features 10 emerging Latin artists from 5 countries (Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, and Spain), across 4 sub-genres within the Latin space (Regional Mexicano, Latin, Latin Urban, and Trap).
DobleP
The Argentinian singer first started to bubble on Shazam in February 2023 in his home country. A few months later, DobleP broke into the Argentina national charts with “DISCULPE OFICIAL”, and in the same year “Me Escapé” with Lauty Gram & Gusty dj spent four months on the AR chart. In 2024, DobleP hit the top 20 in Argentina for the first time. Collaborating with La Joaqui and Gusty dj, “TERAPIA DE CHOQUE” reached No. 18 nationally and drove a spike in DobleP’s Shazam count. DobleP first entered the Apple Music charts in early 2023, reaching the Latin Rap Songs chart in countries across the globe with the HL RMX collaboration “Motorcito Rkt.” All told, he has seen seven songs reach Apple Music charts, in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Maisak
The Venezuelan singer who gained traction for the first time on Shazam in May 2024, starting in Ecuador. His breakout hit, “SE ME OLVIDA,” featuring Feid, achieved global international attention, spending 11 days on the worldwide Shazam chart in October 2024 and peaking at No. 44. The song reached No. 1 in Colombia and Venezuela in August and secured top ten positions in countries like Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay. With viral popularity, “SE ME OLVIDA” saw a surge in Shazam tags shortly after its release, especially in Mexico, the US, Spain, and Colombia. “FDSR,” also hit No. 1 in Colombia in October 2024.
Chuyin
The Regional Mexicano artist first popped on Shazam in October 2023 in his home country. Two of Chuyin’s top tracks, “NO PIERDO LA VIDA” and “INMORTAL” charted simultaneously this past September and October following the release of the former on September 6th. Both songs reached their peak on the Shazam chart in the same week with “NO PIERDO LA VIDA” reaching No. 6 on September 10th and “INMORTAL” reaching No. 19 on September 7th.
Dahili
The Venezuelan singer first showed up on Shazam’s radar in October 2022 in Peru and Ecuador. A collaboration with Andy Rivera and Zaider landed Dahili on the Shazam chart for the first time in August 2024 when Dahili teamed up with the two artists to debut “Parcerita (Remix).” The track also drove Dahili’s biggest day on Shazam to date.
elaggume
The Latin Urban singer first gained traction on Shazam in May 2023 in his home country of Argentina. A few months later, elaggume broke into the Argentina national charts alongside Alejo Issak, Locura Mix, Fauna Music, and Eme Sarav in September 2023 with “Con Tu Amiga” and spent 12 weeks on the chart. elaggume followed that up this year by appearing on five tracks that hit the Shazam charts across South American including “SOLTERO” with Fauna Music, ECKO, and Omar Varela which peaked at No. 3 in Uruguay and No. 4 in Argentina. His top track, “PELEAMO” has been his widest reaching track yet, appearing on the Shazam charts in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela this past summer.
Knak
The Uruguayan Trap singer first started to bubble on Shazam back in January 2019 in Argentina. In 2024, Knak broke through in his home country with two tracks, “No Fue Así” and “+ DE ESO” appearing on the Uruguyan Shazam chart. The latter reached No.13 in Argentina and drove a surge in Shazam tags shortly after its release, especially in Mexico and Argentina.
La Cuatiza
The Regional Mexicano singer first popped on Shazam in August 2024 in Guatemala. He debuted on the Mexican Shazam chart in the same month with the release of his top song “Mami.” He appeared on his home country chart for the second time in October with the release of “Ya Valió V Mijo.”
Milo Bvgatti
The Venezuelan Latin Urban singer first appeared on Shazam’s radar with widespread success, with song recognitions in Spain, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and 10 other countries across South America. His viral hit, “Odiame,” landed him on the Shazam charts for the first time in November 2023 when it gained traction in several Latin American countries. Milo followed up his national chart success with a debut on the global Shazam chart in October 2024, following the release of his top track “Lo Siento.” The hit song also broke the top 10 in his home country of Venezuela as well as Colombia.
Q2
The Spanish Latin Urban Singer first gained traction on Shazam in September 2023 in Portugal. He made his chart debut in his home country one year later with the release of his top song, “Fighter” which spent a month on the chart. His top countries for Shazam activity are his home country of Spain, followed by France and Italy.
Daren
The Mexican Latin artist first started to bubble on Shazam in August 2023 in Guatemala. Following the release of his hit song “11:11” in September, Daren hit a new peak on the Mexican Shazam chart, reaching No.17 nationally. The song also broke into the top 200 in the U.S. and led to a surge in song recognitions for Daren in Mexico and the U.S. He followed up the success of “11:11” with the release of “DEMASIADO PARA MI” which spent four weeks on his home country’s national Shazam chart following its release.
