Debby  Sway, born Deborah Abanfo Andoh, is a Ghanaian singer, rapper, and songwriter, known for her versatile and genre-bending sounds. Blending afrobeats, rap, R&B, hip life, and alté, she explores themes of love, life, and self-development. 

Raised in Ghana and having lived in various parts of the country, her music reflects her multicultural upbringing. 

Early Life and Influences: Debby Sway was born in Takoradi , Ghana and spent her formative years in both Accra and Takoradi. Music never ran in her family history, but she had always had the passion to sing and to write. 

Her wide range of listenership influenced her versatility.

Musical Journey: She began making music professionally after high school. After graduating from the university, she then embraced her music career fully. 

Her first single ‘Gimme Everything’ was a dancehall song that paved way for her, with her next Afrobeats release, ‘Correct’ which gained some popularity in many parts of Ghana.
