Revolution Records: Readies new single “Rush” for Aklerh, drops this Friday!

Revolution Records is set to release Afro dancehall act, Aklerh’s eagerly anticipated single, “Rush” on Friday, November 14.

“Rush” marks an Afro-fusion departure that blends Afro dancehall and highlife with a groovy vibe. Building on Aklerh’s reggae dancehall roots and the Afrobeat textures from Mash Up and Amele, this track fuses sun-soaked highlife energy with contemporary rhythmic flair, delivering a song that is infectious, danceable, and unmistakably Aklerh.

“Rush” embraces a bright, forward-facing groove that sits at the crossroads of Afro dancehall and highlife. The track pulses with lively energy, buoyant brass accents, and a supple bassline. Aklerh’s dynamic vocal delivery weaves soulful phrasing with rhythmic punch to create a chorus that sticks, while catchy hooks and uplifting textures invite social sharing and playlist moments.

Aklerh says, “Rush is my invitation to celebrate and move. It’s a fresh chapter that honors my roots while embracing something vibrant and new.” Revolution Records adds, “This release marks a milestone in Aklerh’s artistic journey. Rush embodies fearless experimentation and a commitment to delivering feel-good music that travels worldwide.”

The production emphasizes a tight pocket between rhythm and lyric, preserving clarity amid a party-ready groove. Displaying a dynamic vocal presence, Aklerh’s evolved delivery maintains her signature charisma while exploring new textures. Rush delivers memorable hooks, a lively groove, and danceable rhythms crafted for the dancefloor.

“Rush” is an unmistakable afro-fusion banger with avibrant blend of Afro dancehall and highlife delivering agroovy, provocative and contemporary edge. Its available on all streaming platforms and distributed by Yve Concept.
