George Orwell wrote a Political book titled Animal Farm which was published on the 17th of August 1945.

One significant quote from that book was “4legs good 2legs bad” which represented a Partial and bias law which lead to a rebellion and chaos in the Animal Kingdom which till today have never been solved.

Currently in the world today we are faced with a pandemic called Coronavirus and every Country is solving the problem according to its capacity and statistics.

Some countries have gone on total Lockdown for Weeks yet some countries like Belarus are still playing football which is a contact sport and sees no reason to stop not to even talk of going on a partial lock down therefore making the idea of a total Lockdown completely senseless.

In Ghana the decision of a total Lockdown in 3 regions were activated and after 3weeks was totally lifted.

Now after lifting it the President ordered that every citizen must adhere to SOCIAL DISTANCING where not more than 25persons can gather for programs like funerals with spaces inbetween each other.

Now this is where the issues are

1. The Government who pronounced this Law is simply NOT adhering to it to the extent that a Government owned Transport Service S.T.C have stated categorically that it CANNOT practice Social Distancing because it will lose financially yet we have the police chasing Private own Trotro drivers and arresting them for not practising Social Distancing.

2. Just a week ago 4 Pastors were arrested and Jailed for 4years because they had a gathering of 50 persons who were actually gathered but practising social distancing yet days ago we had the Military guarding and witnessing the enstoolment of a Chief in Akuapem with countless people practising Nothing close to social distancing.

If these 2 examples does not make 4legs good and 2legs bad then I dont know what Napoleon can call it.

In other NEWS, today is world press FREEDOM day and it’s not surprising that as a Country we have dropped 3 times below in rankings.

Laws must seem to be fair but if our Laws today is protecting Government to make Money and preventing Creative Arts people from making money then we can only see Chaos Ahead.

The Room is still there for improvement or we can ignore it and face the consequences.
