A Pouring Tribute to Mawuli Semevo — Elliot Borketey writes

His predicament was an unfortunate one, having experienced the ravages of fire outbreak in his home.

Many prayed for his relief, donating for his treatment with the hope of a recovery, but the story has changed, for the veteran actor had his last breath.

Efo Mawuli Semevo has indeed contributed a great quota to the creative arts industry, taking up roles that projected the typical Ghanaian, with his hilarious “Eve” accent.
Most often, he would take up the roles of a disciplinarian at home or School, advocating for use of good grammatical expressions.

Life can present many uncertainties, a painful one such as this.

Growing up as kids, Efo Semevor happened to be one of the great actors featured in the “Tv Theater” episodes and many stage plays of most African writers.

Ghana has truly lost a gem, one who dedicated his entire life in projecting the very best of the Ghanaian values and heritage.

A man’s end can be full of pain, one such as this. Journey on, great one.

The life we live is brief, but full of tragedies. Teach us to number our days, oh, Lord.

Mercy!
