Adrian Vera cracks the whip on gold-digger ladies with “Digital Girl” — WATCH VIDEO

Adrian Vera thinks “you’re just some skin and some bones… turning heads on a phone”.

“Digital Girls” everywhere beware, Adrian Vera drops his new single about a girl’s ultra superficial pursuit of social media fame. “I don’t want to be a hypocrite because, like many others, I have posted the occasional thirst trap photo, but when that’s all you got… you might just get a song written about you,” says Adrian.

The song has this fascinating dichotomy, where the subject matter is rather sad, but is set to really cheerful synth-pop music production. In the line “You’re such a silly panic, like what would even happen, if your check never turned blue?”, you hear about a young woman that has lost focus on the ultimate goal of digital interaction and social networking. Desperately lost in her pursuit of influencer fame, she continuously dangles overly sexualized carrots to potential new followers. Ultimately the song questions the character’s detachment from real human connection, and asks “Don’t you know where you go, there’s no one to hold?”.

Digital Girl is out now everywhere you listen to music! Pro-tip… listen for the clap-along bridge that’s sure to be your favorite part of the track!

Adrian Vera is a new kind of artist, blurring the lines between what constitutes a Latin performer, American singer, and a global entertainer. Performing Spanish songs to sold-out crowds in the US, to selling out South American venues with his English hit songs, he is immensely unique and electrifying.

“He is insightful and probing in his lyrics while maintaining a sound all his own. He hits the high notes and the lows with an ease that says I’ve been singing all my life. He is talented with a potential for a larger audience as his sound is discovered.”
