Alleged Police woman reportedly hits Trotro mate with handcuffs, bleeds from the head

We chanced upon a shocking story a while ago on Facebook. Not to say we know the full details of what exactly transpired leading to this but below is how it was narrated by a Facebook in a group called “Trotro Diaries”. NB:
Full Text UNEDITED and is NOT written by us. We are just drawing attention of the public and ‘higher authorities’ to this, for further investigation. Thanks!!!

So in a trotro from Accra mall through the spintex road to nungua. A lady and her kids stopped our bus to join. Upon stopping the mate realized it was only one person (a lady) who was actually joining the bus, so he jokingly asked the lady in twi translated “ oh so u are the only one joining the bus?” The lady rudely replied “ why, what’s ur problem” and the mate said “you enter and let’s go… “
the lady started talking rudely in the bus as the mate retaliated, it was developing into a quarrel and the mate asked the woman to alight cos he wouldn’t like to be exchanging words with her in the bus. The lady upon getting down insulted that guy that he is mad and the mate replied him and the driver drove off… Reaching estate junction traffic light, we realized the lady was chasing us with her private car with the registration number below threatening the driver that he will meet her when they get to nungua barrier. We were all surprised. So upon reaching the barrier a passenger wanted to alight and we realized the lady was coming towards the car with a police man. The police then stopped the car and tried interrogating the mate, suddenly this lady and her kids ( a young lady in her early twenties and a young guy within that same age) started assaulting the mate whilst the the police man was holding the mate before we realized, the lady took  handcuffs from the police and used it to hit the mate in the head which injured the mate in the head and we the passenger very angry got down to the rescue of the mate and started fighting back. The police realizing he was outnumbered quickly rushed the mate to the station at the barrier and pushed him behind the counter. We followed up and started asking why he would do that whilst knowing the mate is injured and rallied that the mate be sent to a nearby hospital for treatment,  during the exchange of words there and then we realized the woman who assaulted the mate was a police officer so she was being protected by her colleagues… it nearly resulted into a clash so the police had no choice but to send the guy out and the woman from the scene. So we followed and asked where they were sending the mate to and they told us, brigade police station we quickly followed to the police station and realized the mate and the woman was not there. We started asking questions, then was later told that the mate was sent to a nearby clinic by the same woman who assaulted him, so they sent a patrol team to follow up. Few minutes later the patrol team came back telling us that they could not find the victim and the woman so we should go to Lekma general hospital to look for them. I wonder why we can take the law into our hands and behave like this cos we belong to any of the security forces of the country.
I find this unacceptable and very bad on the side of the police.
Hmm. Ghana Police Ayoooo🤦🏻‍♂️
please help fight for justice to be served this mate through any possible means🙏🏽
Pardon my bad English though 😁
