Amerado becomes 1st Kumasi Rapper to win the “Best Rap Performance” — Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2023

And for Ghanaian rapper Amerado, recognition came in a big way at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) when he became the first Kumasi rapper to win the Best Rapper award. Amerado, born Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, is a Ghanaian rapper known for his unique style of storytelling and rap delivery.
