ATWAG members are encouraged to report only the true facts and information on the disease. Under no circumstance should any member use COVID-19 as a promotional stunt for an artist or a material to merely draw traffic to their websites.
As much as possible, opinions on coronavirus-related matters should always be sought from right authorities: World Health Organisation (WHO), Ministry of Health (MoH), Ghana Health Service (GHS) and the Ministry of Information (MOI).
Viral social media information need to be verified thoroughly before they are published.
Coronavirus is having a toll on the world, ripping it off its emotional, psychological, and most importantly, economic fortunes. The tourism, arts and culture sector is no exception with this scourge.
