With at least 20 albums to his credit and an active music career of over 30 years, Beenie Man doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all.
The Jamaican Grammys winning Dancehall Singjay on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 has announced the release of his upcoming album he says will be titled “Simma”.
He made the announcement via his social media platform Facebook few hours ago during the time this story was due for publishing.
Beenie Man has had a rough year (according to himself) — he lost his mother, allegedly fainted at his mother’s funeral and had one of his son’s hospitalized few days ago. Nonetheless, the internationally known musician has kept his head above waters and dropping songs for his fans.
Below was what Beenie Man wrote in lieu with the announcement of his next album (unedited):
“Blessings my fans, mi see the messages, the emails, the questions and the calls!
We had to push back the album release due to all the personal unexpected challenges.
You know I give you my best at all times and I wanted to ensure I was in the best space mentally & emotionally before I dropped the album.
LIKE I SAID THOUGH, BACK TO BUSINESS AS USUAL. 🖤🙏🏿 #blessings&love #BeenieMan #SimmaTheAlbum #KingBeenieMan #ItAhFwd #MosesDavis”
Be on the lookout for the new album by The ‘King Of The Dancehall.’
