Ghanaian afro-pop songstress Bigail kicks off the year with a bang; drops her first titled “Do Your Thing”.
An afro-pop jam, “Do Your Thing” is a creative motivational single that touches the hearts and souls of hustlers and people who have given up on life.
Bigail acknowledges the daily struggles people go through daily and that of hers, which is the main concept behind the mid-tempo single produced by Cash Two.
“I woke up one morning with no food and money, not even water at home,” she said, “so, I started thinking about what to do to get food to eat that afternoon.”
“I called my so-called friends and they all turned me down, and some of them think I’m lazy, and that’s why I’m broke. That got me thinking, I mean the reality check about how I am all alone in this life since I am an orphan,” she disclosed.
“The concept was about the time I was selling water, orange, sugarcane, and other stuff in traffic. Let me skip the ugly part of being an orphan here,” Bigail added.
She wants all her listeners ‘to keep on pushing whatever they are doing there’s a rainy day ahead of them.’
“I understand that everybody was born differently, but God has a reason why you are where you are right now. Don’t cry too much about what you are going through but rather put on the work and pray. God got you,” she added.
“Do Your Thing” is available across all digital platforms.
