Borborbor: Israel Maweta on a love streak, with classic folk song “Lorlor Nye” – LISTEN

“Lorlor Nye”, is one of the singles off Israel Maweta’s upcoming Album wrapping up from the studio. This makes it the second song Israel Maweta has released within a space of one month; both traditional folk love song.

With an upgraded sound and production dynamics, courtesy His Manager, Elorm Beenie, Borborbor has seen a facelift with a refined sound and fusion sounds of jazz, highlife and a steeze of Kpanlogo in there.

Dela Botri – Ghanaian International Flutist was recruited on the production works along with Bless Saxx and BoneKeyz.

“Lorlor Nye”, an Ewe parlance which translates as “My Love” or “My Sweetheart”. The song is a carefully garnished folk/traditional classic; has a fine blend of contemporary sounds to create balance for global signature.

This makes it exactly a month apart after he previously dropped a first single “Paulina” off the upcoming album.

“Lorlor Nye” song was produced by Elorm Beenie, Manager for Israel Maweta – he doubles as the Executive Producer and Producer for both songs – “Paulina” and “Lorlor Nye”.
