#CoronaVirus isn’t over, use your fanbase & following to do more education – Edem urges celebrities

Ewe rap god and CEO of VRMG, Denning Edem Hotor aka Edem has charged his colleague musicians to do more to educate the masses about the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic through music.

When Edem was asked by Amansan Krakye of Radio Central fame, what’s preventing musicians from composing an all star coronavirus campaign song to educate the public, he said

“When the disease started everyone didn’t have proper grips of the situation. Some artistes have released some songs though”

“But I think it’s a brilliant idea to do a song with different languages and it must be well coordinated so as to get the messages from different artistes right on point”

“Right now some artistes are not in Ghana. Because of social distancing we can’t also be together in a studio to record, so I will let everyone do their verse and forward it to me. When the song is finally done we would have to credit you, Amansan Krakye for the idea”.

Currently more people are doing songs about coronavirus to educate the public about precautionary measures to adopt in order to stay safe and healthy.
