Corzzy Blaque drops new jam “Ele Nyata Dzi” for Hogbetsotso Festival Revelers – LISTEN

Corzzy Blaque—one of the buzzing and fast-pacing artistes under the CollinWud label has just served us a latest release.
This song is a good prelude to hi much anticipated stage cameo on Friday, October 31st in Keta as part of the clique’s annual jamboree in lieu with Hogbetsotso Festival.

The song is out and available on all major digital platforms for streams.

Explaining the concept of the new song, Corzzy says, “I’ve been inspired by elderly men and women who used to teased each other back in the days at a place ‘LƆLƆNYO STORE’. I’ve been hearing them making this particular statement ‘ME TEME NAM O’ while sipping their glass of beer. There, I got to know they’re referring to something (raunchy) that has happened in the past between someone and their girlfriend. After fully understanding the import of the jargons and interjections, I decided to create a song out of their statement ‘ME TEME NAM O’; but not on purposely what they actually meant, but as a way of reminiscing old times.”

“I tried to dip myself into the whole statement like ‘ME TEME NAM O’ to create this beautiful piece titled ‘ELE NYATA DZI’ and I know everyone will definitely relate to it. It’s primarily for ladies but other way too, people can still connect to the title in ewe ‘ELE NYATA DZI’ which literally means ‘IT’S ON MY LAP’ (in English). Additionally, hustlers working hard in the jungle to earn their daily bread will find resonance in the message as well”, Corzzy added.

“ELE NYATA DZI” was produced by Anthem Beat and then mixed and mastered by Lazbeat.
