The significance of Ethiopia’s ambassador to Ghana His Excellency Djjennie Asaye Alemayehu honouring The Taste Of Afrika’s invitation to be a special guest at the launch of the Cultural Oneness Festival didn’t only promote cultural diversities between both countries, it also strengthened the diplomatic relationships between Ethiopia and Ghana by acknowledging and endorsing a landmark event in Ghana. The event that saw a lot of dignitaries in attendance took place on 28/4/2023 at Radach Lodge and Conference Center – Tamale.
Such acts of appreciation and collaboration have strengthened the ties between both countries socially and economically. Clearly, the ambassador’s attendance shows that Ethiopia values and prioritizes its relationship with Ghana. It serves as a gesture of respect for the host country by showing their commitment and support. The Cultural Oneness Festival launch gave him the platform to communicate their country’s values, interests, culture, and tradition, and thus, increase awareness and recognition of their country.
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the powerhouses behind The Taste Of Afrika: Tengol K. Kplemani and Martin Christopher Glin. The Cultural Oneness Festival is a festival was designed to celebrate oneness in diversity. It’s safe to say The Taste Of Afrika has executed its mission of celebrating oneness in class and style. Kudos to the organisers and everyone who contributed to the launch’s success.
