On 10/3/2022, wheeler and dealer afro-fusion reggae/dancehall act Donyrific served music lovers with what I call music orgasm from his debut EP titled ‘Prison Break’, a 6 track project. It is one of those projects one finds it extremely difficult to skip a single track simply because of the content, style, and production. Production credit: Brainy Beatz, King One Beatz, Yaw Spoky, Sperry Beatz, 360 Records, Gregory, and Seven Snares.
The amount of energy invested into the project is just too strong and worth listening to. You will love it. The catalyst behind the EP is about mental liberation and breaking out of fear. In addition to the driving force behind the EP, Donyrific is a proud native of Nsawam, the city with the biggest prison in Ghana, located in the Eastern Region. This being said, it tells you the kind of environment he grew up in. This has helped shape his life in a more clear-sighted manner. In that, every decision he makes is well calculated.
In an exclusive interview on Yaad Settingz with King Lagazee on your #1 reggae/dancehall show on Hitz 103.9 FM, Donyrific established his determination to help liberate the world with his ‘Prison Break EP’. He went on to make an appeal to investors to look to his direction to uplift and fuel his music craft. With a satisfying sense of completeness and merit, I think the EP deserves massive attention, support, play-listing, reviews, and back-to-back airplay on rotation.
