Through its few years in existence, Film Etoile can boast of its highly esteemed brand experience such as The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Initiative (UAE), The Global Food Banking Network, Food4All Africa, UNICEF, African Women Development Fund (AWDF), Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA), Vodafone Ghana, Vanguard Assurance, and The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) among others.
The production company began with just three graduates looking for a way to help eradicate the lack of jobs in the creative industry. The company has bloomed into one of the sought after production companies in Ghana with a team capacity of 15, ranging from directing, production, cinematography, editing, lighting, animation, sound and anything audio-visual. Founded by the ever daring and fast-talking young female filmmaker, Sarah Dowuona.
Their long-term vision is to see more organic products from Ghana and Africa making waves around the globe and hopefully swiping a few of the Oscars or better still coming up with a much-recognized Award scheme right here in Africa.
Even though they are into more corporate production, they have a lot of personal projects underneath their sleeves which will be hitting the country and world by storm soon. It is quite recommendable to have a women-led production making impact in the creative industry. Film Etoile believes that no one can tell our story (African) better than we can.
