Eze Gaming Hub has named Doreen Dabi-Diamond as Coach for the eSports team as they head to the upcoming GGC Golden Hour tournament.
While half of all gamers are female, only few women are part of the professional esports scene. The video game industry is male-dominated, but esports companies are banding together to recognize female gamers and revolutionize the industry for this reasons the CEO of Eze Gaming Hub,Christian Chibueze named her as their Coach thus becoming the first and only female team coach known to date in the country.
Doreen Dabi-Diamond who is a passionate gamer growing up has always loved to break the gender monopoly in everything she does. She was the only female competitor among 16 male competitors at the maiden edition of the Volta FIFA20 Championship which took place in Ho,Volta Region last year. Despite not making it to the finals of the competition she showed class against her male competitors who bowed to her style of game. She is also a MC/Hypeman and emerged winner of the Best MC/Hypeman at the 2020 Volta Dj Awards.
Dabi-Diamond will be leading Maxline Kofi Ziddah, Senam Bakudie Excel.C and Duncan Samuel to the GGC Golden Hour tournament and is looking forward to an exciting and challenging tournament.
