Popular newscaster and social development show host on Atinka FM and Atinka Television, Akosua Agyeiwaa High Tension through her philanthropic foundation made this year’s Father’s Day celebration a special one for six icons in the Ghanaian creative space.
On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, Akosua Agyeiwaa High Tension, host of the award-winning “Afisem” show on Atinka FM, honored six personalities for their exemplary fatherhood.
The special Father’s Day edition was dedicated to the six men who have entertained Ghanaians for years.
The deserving fathers were Mr. K.K. Kyeremateng (Ajoss), C.K. Boateng, highlife legend Obouba J.A. Adofo, musician Teacher Boateng, actor Osofo Moses, and Amankwaa Ampofo, a former GBC broadcaster. Each of these outstanding fathers received an undisclosed amount of cash and a hamper, demonstrating their dedication and commitment to their families and Ghanaians in general.
The host of the Afisem show celebrated these personalities for being shining examples of fatherhood and inspiring others with their love, care, and support.
This special recognition aims to promote these noble men as positive role models and encourage more individuals to emulate their exemplary behavior.
The six fathers expressed their profound gratitude to Akosua Agyeiwaa High Tension for the honor.
This generous act is in line with the initiatives of the High Tension Foundation, a nonprofit organization aimed at supporting the elderly in society.
Akosua Agyeiwaa High Tension, the host of Afisem and founder of the High Tension Foundation, also expressed her profound gratitude to her support system.
“I thank God for the strength to do what we always do. I believe that the High Tension Foundation will continue to support the elderly in society. I especially thank the Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Elder Samuel Amo Tobbin, for his support with the Father’s Day event.”
Mr. Samuel Amoy Tobin, Chairman Tobinco Group, who was listening to the show, added extra cash to the amount the fathers had already been given by the High Tension Foundation.
