Former President John Mahama supports breast cancer patient to get treatment – SEE PHOTOS

A Nabco Teacher, Vivian Mesere, who hasn’t been paid over 11 Months, was diagnosed of breast cancer last year March 2021. She had her treatment started this year January 2022, it was quite severe the sickness crept from breast cancer stage 3 to 4 which was a very critical stage. Vivian was teaching in a school in Koforidua in the Eastern Region by then.

 

The Former President John Dramani Mahama who heard about her case intervened and gave some assitance. John Mahama, according to reports, took all the hospital expenses and related treatment costs. From there, she got transferred to a private hospital, SWEDISH GHANA CANCER CENTER, and through the mercy of God and the powerful hands of medical practitioners, Vivian is now a breast cancer survivor!

 

Vivian who was overwhelmed said, God used the Former President to save her life. She was very thankful to him.

 

Narrating the ordeal, Vivian says, “it all started in March last year, 2021, where I was diagnosed with the Type 3 Breast Cancer at Koforidua Government Hospital. l thought all hope was lost because the doctor assigned to me had told me that he wanted to cutoff my breast and told me to prepare and come, but l declined. Then the special grace of God, touched some Members of NDC Eastern Regional caucus who heard about my problem and offered me GHC 10,000 as part of support. Not quite long l had a call from the Former President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama who sent a message through his Secretary, Madam Bawa Mogtari, to be transferred to the Ghana Swedish Cancer Treatment Center in Accra. He ordered l undergo chemotherapy. I started the treatment and by the grace of God, whilst going to Korle-Bu, today l have gone through chemo and radiotherapy successfully.”
