The first single off the Ep is Be My Lover featuring one of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeat stars Mr. Eazi. With a history of promoting and identifying good talent before his solo endeavors, Mr. Eazi reached out to Jizzle to do collaboration after seeing one of Jizzle’s video’s on social media. The rest is history. The song is produced by Gunsilent Beatz and has an afrobeat sound with a hip hop groove. “I was vibing in the studio after coming from the club watching so many beautiful ladies. It just came to me. After recording the melodies, I just knew Mr. Eazi would be the right fit for the song, recalls Jizzle.”

With a strong base line, funky riddim and strong flutes, Abu Dhabi expresses Jizzle’s admiration for Dubai. “I love Dubai. It’s a beautiful country and I think every man would love to take their lady there or their woman there on a honeymoon. Make them experience the finer things in life and show them around. It’s one country that tons of people would love to go to.”

Oh Baby has a dancehall groove featuring Senegal’s number one female artist, Viviane. “We recorded this song two years ago. It’s was just a natural connection. We wanted to sing about privacy and love in a relationship. No matter what challenges a couple may have, keep it within and hold on to your love.”

StoneBwoy is featured on the Broke Again remix. The original version was so hot on the streets and the first Ep that a remix was delivered for Scorpion Vol. 2. Jizzle describes how it came about, “Stone Bwoy and I were chilling listening to some of my music in The Gambia. He liked Broke Again so we decided to do a remix. The song is also his style. He sings more to the youth and about consciousness. That is one thing that I like about him.”

Bad Energy features Aida Samba, a sensational songstress from Senegal. This song is about self-empowerment and protecting one’s self from negativity. “You get people with bad energy always trying to come around to kill other people’s vibe or do things that’s not necessary. The message on this song is very, very powerful. Cuz me, I don’t do bad energy, I cannot be around bad energy. On this song I am telling bad energy and bad energy people to stay away from me. Bad energy is a bad energy!!!” laughs Jizzle.

Falling For You is a ladies tune dedicated to the journey of love and relationships featuring Samba Peuzzi from Senegal. “I wrote it for a beautiful woman that I was in love with at the time. I recorded it before the Pandemic but I was not ready to release it. So one day, Samba heard the song and wanted to jump on it. Everyone that knows me knows I love hard when I fall in love. I will do anything for my lady. Falling For you is an attribute of that expression of love.” Buy, stream, and request Scorpion Vol. 2 on all digital platforms.
