Love or hate his guts; the award-winning rapper has become an unstoppable force in the Ghanaian music industry and on the internet. His line of releases thus far: ‘Boys Aye Wild’, ‘Drip’, ‘Settle’ and the recently released ‘We Outside’ continue to prove one thing – Gambo’s best days are yet to come, which is why his latest announcement has our attention.
Dubbed ‘’Gambo, Ashongman & Friends to the World’’ concert, the BlackMob boss announces his plans to light up Accra this December in a free-for-all show, tipped to become one of the much-awaited month’s most patronized musical concerts. And with artists like Edem, Keche, Strongman, Mr Drew, Kofi Jamar, Tulenkey and other surprise guests billed to perform, how could it not be?!
“This concert will be my gift to the youth this year”, Gambo shared. “We need to do better for them, especially with how things are going. My upcoming concert will help promote entrepreneurship and talent development among the youth so they can at least create a better life”. This humble ambition will kick off in two editions: first at the Old Ashongman School Park in Accra on December 2 and two weeks later in Old Tafo, Kumasi, on December 16, both at 7pm.
