Legon Cities recorded an emphatic victory against AshantiGold. The Miners opened the scoring in the 6th minute through Yaw Annor, he pounced on an error by Fatau Dauda and slotted the ball into an empty net. Legon Cities pulled parity through Nasiru Moro, outside the box. AshantiGold regained the lead in the 31st minute, Yaw Annor was on target once again.
Jonah Attuquaye scored in additional minutes of the first half to make it 2-2. Legon Cities came back from the break firing at all cylinders and took the lead for the first time in the game in the 49th minute, Baba Mahama the scorer this time. David Cudjoe scored twice in the 52nd and 62nd minute to make it 5-2. AshantiGold were awarded a penalty to reduce the deficit in the dying embers of the game but Yaw Annor failed to beat Fatau Dauda.

Berekum Chelsea and Hearts of Oak shared spoils at the Berekum Golden City park. Berekum Chelsea dominated the first half, but were let down by being poor in the final third. The second half of the game saw little chances being created by both sides, the football was mostly played in the middle, coupled with bad decision making.. The only big chance of the half came in the dying embers of the game when an effort by Frederick Ansah Botchway was spilled by goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere, Eric Dizan’s effort from the rebound was saved by the goalkeeper.

A second half strike from Samuel Bioh handed Aduana Stars a 1-0 victory against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. The first half of the game was evenly contested and ended scoreless. Kotoko came close in the opening minutes of the second half through Emmanuel Gyamfi, Latif Anabila and Fabio Gama. Despite controlling the game, the Porcupine Warriors found themselves a goal down in the 75th minute. Despite late pressure from Kotoko in the final minutes of the game, Aduana held on to win 1-0.

King Faisal’s winless run extended to 7 games as they lost 1-0 to Eleven Wonders. The first half of the game ended scoreless, with both sides failing to great any big opportunity. The second half continued like the first. Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu brought on Salifu Ibrahim and Prince Okraku, the duo combined in the dying minutes of the game to give Eleven Wonders a 1-0 victory. A crossing from Salifu Ibrahim was headed into the net by Prince Okraku.
