Ghanaian Rapper, PoundS, joins Qatar 2022 World Cup Campaign with hot Hiphop Drill Song “Suliya” — LISTEN

As the euphoria builds for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, many Artistes are putting in their creative work as a form of support for the Ghanaian Black Stars and at large, cheer song for football fanatics.
PoundS, fast rising Ghanaian Rap Artiste who hails from the Volta Region of Ghana gets in the way with a latest cut he titled “Suliya”.
“Suliya” is a very popular term in Ghana related to football where one gets dribbled with the ball in between their legs. Relating this to music, PoundS likens himself to that top striker (in the music league) who keeps winning and gaining new grounds with his craft and outshining his naysayers and enemies.
“The song is a finely produced Hiphop drill song. It basically talks about being on top of your game, or  being as  stubborn with your goals. You have to be stubborn like the proverbial ‘Kofi’ whom Ghanaian liken to be a stubborn son; so regardless of whatever is thrown at me, I’m still in my top form with stubbornness yet with a positive mindset, thus rising above all negativity. The song title is quite relatable to the Ghanaian market and it’s a word that’s very popular within the football loving community. What’s a good time to release a song like this than during this period Ghana Black Stars are repping for us at Qatar 2022? Listen up!” PoundS explained to BeenieWords.
The song was produced by Dj Comah.
