Promising gospel minister Davemens born David Nsiah Mensah says his purpose for singing gospel is an instruction to transform the lives of people through gospel music.

The spirit-filled singer who was formally known as King David now Davemens started music in 2011 from Kumasi but is currently based in Accra still touching souls with his music. Davemens has created over twenty songs which includes features from renowned Ghanaian gospels artistes like Joyce Blessing and CSP Kofi Sarpong.

According to him, his songs are inspired by the Holy Spirit which is soul-soothing, out of the many songs he has created, he has dropped some beautiful pieces like ‘Adom bi’, ‘My turn’ featuring Joyce Blessing and CSP Kofi Sarpong.

Davemen who was discouraged from doing music takes his music inspiration from CSP Kofi Sarpong, he is gearing for his next music project which will be due in June. His music targets all music lovers especially those who love gospel genres and all music lovers.

Talking about his music brand he says, “My music brand is different from other artists because of how my music is distributed, promoted and the strength of my management team. The intensity of my teams’ prayer includes a lot of time and dedication”

The artiste who doubles as a fashion designer believes the music industry is very lucrative if proper investment is made.  “It will be appropriate if musicians do not solely depend on the music carrier but also venture into entrepreneurial

skills. I do fashion designing on the side “

He shared that his biggest fear as an artist, “is not being able to fulfil or touch the lives of our generations through my music.”

Davemen lives with the mantra, “Never given up” and advised young musicians to be focused “humbly Yourself, and put out your best,”
