On Friday, 29th November 2025, the Inspire Cape Coast team took a significant step toward the successful rollout of its maiden edition with a formal courtesy call on Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, the Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, at the Emintsimadze Palace.

 

The meeting centered on three key objectives: presenting the vision for Inspire Cape Coast 2025, formally inviting Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II as the Special Guest of Honour, and seeking his blessings and guidance for the programme.

 

Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II received the delegation with warmth and enthusiasm. He expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, commending its mission to spotlight innovation, culture, leadership, and social impact in Cape Coast. He further reaffirmed his unwavering support for projects that promote development within the Oguaa Traditional Area, noting that Inspire Cape Coast aligns with the broader aspirations of the community.

 

The Paramount Chief also assured the team of his full commitment and honoured presence at the upcoming event. His endorsement is seen as a major boost to the programme’s preparations and its anticipated impact.

 

Speaking after the visit, Inspire Cape Coast coordinators described the meeting as both encouraging and empowering. They emphasized the importance of traditional authority in shaping inclusive development and expressed gratitude for Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II’s reception and guidance.

 

As preparations continue, Inspire Cape Coast 2025 promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, bringing together leaders, innovators, creatives, and changemakers to celebrate the spirit, potential, and future of Cape Coast.
