Jamrock Restaurant to celebrate 3-Day fun-filled Weekend in Accra to mark Jamaica’s 59th Independence Celebration

 

Accra-based Jamaican cuisine, Jamrock Restaurant, has announced a 3-day power-packed weekend with a studded list of activities starting from Friday, August 6th to Sunday, August 8th.

 

Venue is premises of the Oak Plaza Hotel, East Airport. Below is a line-up of activities for the JAMROCK WEEKEND!

The 3-day event is in lieu with activities to mark Jamaica’s 59th Independence Day Celebrations. Jamrock Restaurant, a Jamaican-Ghanaian owned brand has been operating in Ghana for the past 6 years and has projected the Jamaican and Caribbean Culture beyond cuisine to promoting their music (Reggae, Dancehall, Mento, Ska, among others) as well as Spoken Word activities.

Epixode, Ghana’s reigning “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Of The Year” is the headline Act for the 3-day event and plays on Friday, August 6th.

King Lagazee, multiple award-winning Radio Jock from Hitz 103.9fm is also part of the 3-day event; he plays with his Lagazee Soundz International Crew shuffling records from both local (Ghanaian and African) artistes to Jamaican artistes as part of celebrations to mark the Independence Weekend in Ghana on Sunday, August 8th to climax the long weekend. He will play along with Ghanaian artistes like Donyrific, Syon Hero, Bwoy Louka, and others.
