The maiden edition of Kejefair is scheduled to take place on 18th December 2021 at the Odade3 Alumni and Mentorship Centre, Presec – Legon, opposite the UPSA Hostel. According to the organisers, all is set to showcase over sixty entrepreneurs and social media influencers across various sectors, from beauty, food, entertainment to fast-moving consumer goods among others.
Last year, Kejeyank Limited, a wholly owned Ghanaian Marketing Communications Company commenced social media activations for small-scale businesses using snapchat in partnership with social media influencers. The company is now rolling out Kejefair, a trade show at a location.
Kejefair leverages social media to spur brand enhancement through the participation of online businesses, consumers, investors, brand ambassadors, social media influencers and other stakeholders. The fair will include a seminar for vendors by resource persons in the areas of E-Commerce, Banking, Taxation, Insurance and Customer Relations.
Commenting on the fair, Wesley Kesse, the spokesperson for Kejefair said, “We believe in online businesses right here in Ghana. Social media is a promising and powerful tool— an avenue for taking small businesses to the next level. Using our platform to contribute to the promotion of these innovative goods and services from small and medium Ghanaian ventures is a responsibility we believe our position as social media influencers demands.”
According to the organisers, their three main purposes for initiating the fair is to use social media and influencers to promote Ghanaian brands and entrepreneurs, facilitate investment opportunities and provide a reliable networking platform for brands, customers, investors and other stakeholders.
