DonyRific
Last Sunday, 7-star diamond platinum general cum host of the most popular reggae dancehall radio show (Yaad Settingz / Hitz 103.9 FM) in Ghana, King Lagazee gave a boost to blue-chip reggae-dancehall act Donyrific‘s new song – ‘33d3′.
’33d3′ literally means it’s sweet or tasty. It’s a dancehall song with level-headed lyrics on popular Jamaican riddim ‘Bambam’ which throws light on the fact that dancehall is largely accepted by the masses because it’s sweet and it’s going to be a hard nut to crack when anybody dares to sabotage the genre.
As a matter of fact, 33d3 is a plausible song that deserves more than necessary attention, push and support to hit the limelight. Those who love reggae dancehall music will relate more. No wonder, Lagazee had no option other than to abet the song to his established and ever-growing listeners.
Born Isaac Asare Junior and better known as DonyRific, he doubles as a singer, afro-fusion reggae-dancehall act, songwriter, and lyricist who hails from Nsawam, Eastern Region – Ghana. He had public exposure and got noticed by many in 2016 when Pluzz FM staged Dancemania with the Reggae Embassy Crew made up of Fiifi Selah, Nana Dubwise, just to mention a few. On that same stage, he exhibited an unmatched talent intertwined with energy and readiness. He won the heart of many which led to an endorsement from senior gatekeepers.
