Accra, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 — Revolutionary Ghanaian Reggae Musician, Konkarah Jahvybz, hints of an Afrobeats EP dropping soon. According to him, the title of the EP is “Different Guy”.
It is not uncommon to find both local and international Reggae/Dancehall Artistes doing genres outside their ‘comfort zone’, especially in Ghana, many of the known Reggae and Dancehall Artistes have crept into Afrobeats, Hiplife, Highlife and even Hiphop circles. Konkarah also decides to go that direction with his upcoming work.
This Afrobeats project is definitely a surprising one that will hit his fans because it is his very first time moving in that square. To prove his worth, he wants to drop this project and buy some new audience outside his box.
“We are versatile and can do any form of music. My key position is Reggae which many know me for. But then again I am a Ghanaian and an African. Doing something to represent my roots or foundation is needed. I know this will come as a shock to my fans but it feels good as well. I can’t wait to drop it for them.” (Konkarah Jahvybz)
In lieu with this new moves, Konkarah is pushing some new images across for promo ahead of the big release which he will be officially announcing a release date soon as well as other details.
Be on the lookout. Meanwhile, do follow him on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @KonkarahJahvybz
