Tremendous stuff from City as they run out 5-0 winners against Burnley.
In what turned out to be a game of firsts, Mahrez got his first hat-trick for the club while Mendy and Torres completed the scoring with their first goals for the sky blues.
The hosts were denied a sixth when VAR ruled out Peacock-Farrell’s own goal in the 75th minute, but that will be of little concern as City closed out their fourth successive 5-0 win against Sean Dyche’s side to move into the top half of the Premier League.
Burnley have suffered six league defeats this season, losing more of their opening nine games of a top-flight campaign only once before, in 1888-89 (seven).
