England showed no mercy in their opening group B game of the World Cup in Qatar against Iran in a 6-2 demolition.
The three lions had only one win in seven matches coming into this game. But their patience and individual brilliance got them going from a beautiful header by Jude Bellingham and two thumping strike by Bukayo Saka and a sweet finish from Sterling put them in cruise control at half time.
