Music Career:
As a child, his father introduced him to the music culture by playing a lot of reggae records in the house and sometimes forced him to sing along. These exposures made him develop love for music at a tender age. His intense passion to do music made him lose interest in schooling but his father streamlined him to complete high school education in the Eastern region and later completed tertiary at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Even in school and right after school, he pursued his music dream but his father again did not buy into the idea. He literally wanted him to become an accountant. This led to a misunderstanding between the two eventually tearing down their beautiful relationship but to God be the glory his father later understood him.
His music career began during his high school days at the Benkum Senior High school. He was then known as Alphabet. Currently, he’s based in Nanakrom – East Legon Hills.
He started having uncontrollable affection for music as far back when he was a lad but professionally he has been doing music for three years now. He made his first debut in 2019 and started playing shows in that same year.
Tappoli, Careful, Our story, Bone Di Badmind, Eduaba, Broken Heart, Worry Dem, Towa, Sweetness &
Letter To Irish are few songs he has under his belt between 2019 – 2020.
Roll kall 2019, 4syte Penthall Week 2020, Summerhill Christmas Fest with Tulenkey, Okay FM Street Carnival and EdemFest are some of the platforms he has mounted to display his artistry.
As an artist he strongly believes in working with artists who can blend with whatever content you are putting out there and not necessarily because of hype or fame. With that in mind, he is hoping to work with Kofi Kinaata, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Samini and Mugeez.
Objectives:
His objectives are based on three major elements in music; music must make people cry, laugh and think. That’s exactly what he’s about. What is mentioned above are some of the basic things he wants to achieve with music. Aside, he’s equally focused more on the business aspect too, yet listeners will be pampered, elevated, motivated and inspired with his music.
Inspiration:
Most at times nature and some personal experiences he has been through in life inspire his music. More so, some sound engineers inspire him through the elements they channel in the instruments.
Challenges:
Financial instability is one of the key challenges. Whereas disappointment from people and people looking down upon him which sometimes gives him the impression to quit. But he always finds a way to rise above all these distasteful circumstances by not giving up and giving them more reasons to support his good music. He has also sent couple of songs to some of the A list artists in Ghana but no feedback from any of them yet.
Upcoming Projects:
He’s working on an EP but he is yet to finalise the track list with his team. He will release a single off the EP on 24th April.
