Meet Ghana’s finest MC and ever fashionable royal host – KMJ

Every event needs an expert to engage, entertain and keep the audience glued to their seat. In instances like this, an MC is the best pick for the job because they leave a lasting impression on the audience and ensure the event runs smoothly based on the lineup of activities for the day.

Today, I’ll be delving into the career of one of Ghana’s finest radio / TV personalities, event MC (royal host), actor, voice-over-artist, entrepreneur, and brand influencer born Kpekpo Maxwell Justice, better known as KMJ. With a highly earned apotheosis for being greatly riveting, voguish, result-oriented, and insightful traits that define a talented personality with many hats.

He was the host of the ‘Vision Drive’ on Vision 90.9FM; the only English language station in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Koforidua for three years where he also occupied the positions of Events Coordinator and acting Programs Manager of the station before he moved to Accra. Fast forward, when he got to Accra KMJ became the host of one of the nation’s finest urban entertainment and lifestyle morning radio shows, ‘Daybreak Hitz‘ on Hitz 103.9FM; a Multimedia Group Limited platform for two successful years.

He has also hosted several TV shows including ‘Showbiz At The Bar‘ on JOY PRIME TV. He’s been a super-sub for shows on Adom FM Mid-morning Show, Joy FM Mid-morning Show, Joy Prime TV which are all subsidiaries of the Multimedia Media Group. Currently, he’s the co-host of the best entertainment show, ‘SHOWBIZ NOW’ a live TV show which airs on JOY PRIME (DSTV Channel 281) from Monday to Friday, 11 am.

He has had a stint with other TV productions like SOUND CITY GHANA, ROLL TAPE, FUZE, CLAPPERBOARD, MINDSTUDIOS, PLUZZ FM, AHOMKA FM, just to mention but a few as a presenter, producer, director, content developer, and scriptwriter.

He does voice-over for radio & TV commercials, as well as movies. He has also done the additional soundtrack for movies like TURN ME ON, THE C.E.O, SHADOW IN THE DARK, and few others. In total, he has done over 50 voiceovers and counting.

He featured in the movie ‘BE MY GUEST’ and in a few television series notably, ‘XOXO’ and has also written a television series ‘THE STORM’ and ‘ENTRAPPED’ which was directed by Desmond Elliot and aired on DSTV African Magic Showcase channel and TV3. And also featured in theatre performances with a group called FIHANKRA PLAYHOUSE at the Arts Centre in Accra.

He has hosted his television show dubbed “Showbiz At The Bar” which featured renowned celebrities in a very informal, unscripted conversation mainly centered on Showbiz.  He has gradually established himself as a good brand, an authority in the Ghanaian showbiz industry and across the continent at large. KMJ’s sense of fashion makes him stand out amongst his peers. He is simply FASHION!

KMJ believes he is the voice that adds to the ultimate radio and television experience. It is very fun-loving; simple and easy-going, fashionista, witty, emotional, smooth, sweet, and humorous, but when it comes down to business, he is as focused as a seeker seeing Darken Raul. He has always considered Radio and TV as a passion and simply loves RADIO and TV!!!

If KMJ is not busy with work or Emceeing events which he loves to do, he loves to read, listen to music, surf the net, watch movies; watching and making them, scripting, dancing, playing football, smiling. Yes……! He loves to smile it heals!!!

KMJ was the former brand ambassador for ADEPA HOUSE; Adepa House, Abuya Wardrobe, all men’s wear firms.

In conclusion, KMJ is a philanthropist who prefers his benevolence remains behind the cameras. He’s over the years used his brand to motivate and inspire a lot of young ones who reach out to him on social media and social gatherings where he MC events. He took some students who attended IYES 2019 and requested his guidance in their careers. Many of them have received direct mentoring and assistance.
